MUSHROOM COMPOST

A slow-release, organic plant fertilizer, mushroom compost is recommended to till into the soil before laying sod. Before planting a perennial bed, annual bed, or vegetable garden, it is important to apply a 3-inch layer of mushroom compost on top of your bed, and till it 5-6 inches deep. Also, this type of compost is rich in calcium.
